Application development on Thyron products is possible either via in-house development by Thyron or by partners equipped with Thyron's development tools.

In - house Application development

Thyron excels in its ability to customise existing applications to user requirements as well as being able to develop new bespoke applications. These applications range from major developments to various payment gateways, new applications such as top-up and loyalty card processing, through to minor enhancements allowing the users to adapt standard existing applications to fit bespoke business requirements.  All application development follows strict project life cycle processes from specification to testing. Thyron’s application development team are also well equipped to provide consultancy services to help customers define their requirements and assist them in finding the best solution that meets their needs.

Software Development kit "SDK"

Thyron provides a comprehensive development environment for partners who wish to develop their own, customer specific applications on the MPT and PayCell products. The Development environment comprises of a development manual, Thyron’s CD containing documentation written in HTML, the PayCell Library and Operating System, compiler and linker, real time debugger, text editor with one user license and various Thyron Tools. Thyron provides the GNU C compiler and linker with the relevant makefiles and documentation. The PayCell and MPT uses a Windows based real time debugging interface.  The debugger allows the application developer to debug using the application C source code. Thyron offers a comprehensive, 3 day training course for the terminal development environment for up to 3 people from one company at a time.   A prerequisite for the course is that the application developer has an adequate knowledge of ANSI C. Thyron aims to aid in the swift development of customer applications.  Full technical support facilities are provided for 1 year as an on-going commitment to our customers.
