Young’s Brewery has selected Thyron Systems to supply the MPT510 wireless LAN portable chip and PIN payment terminal to its estate of 115 managed houses.  At an average of 3 terminals per house they anticipate completing a roll out of 345 terminals by late summer 2007 subject to defined sucess criteria being achieved.  By utilising their wireless LAN network and broadband service Young’s are able to achieve fast transaction times for customers wishing to pay by card thus creating an improved customer experience at the point of sale.  The Thyron Systems MPT510 combines exceptional performance with portability and is ideally suited to the hospitality market.
